History | Established in 1982
Bradfield Properties, now Homecity Real Estate, was founded in 1982 by Joyce Bradfield. Her vision was to create a company steeped in local culture and built upon a solid foundation of customer service. For more than 30 years our name has stood for excellence and innovation in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. An industry trend setter, we have always been happy to blaze the trail on new technology and ideas. Our mission is simple: to offer traditional and personal customer service while embracing innovative technology and continued education to help our Realtors better serve their clients.
Expanding into Austin, TX in 2014 and again in 2018, Homecity was one of the first full-service real estate brokers to leverage the Internet to provide our agents with pre-screened referrals each and every month. At one time we had 3 full time photographers that went to each new listing that came on the market daily. From these photos we uploaded them into the web for clients to see each and every day. We have come a long way from our grass roots efforts although we still provide the same great service.
Today our team provides agents and clients with the very best tools available in the business. It starts with our top-notch customer service team, who is always available to take your calls. After getting the preliminary information, the customer service team picks the most qualified agent for that particular client and hands over the referral. We work with some of the best agents in the business, and take pride in the caliber of service that we provide. Our in-house marketing and technology departments work with the agents to make sure the buyer or seller has all mediums available to help them along the way.

Our highly visible website updates throughout the day to provide up to date information, while our custom back end CRM makes managing clients a breeze. We now have offices in San Antonio, Austin, and the Temple/Belton area, as well as a stellar Relocation Department that can assist you with any move any time to anywhere. Our Realtors® are well versed in local knowledge and committed to customer service, and it shows. We have assisted clients with over $12 billion in real estate transactions. Although we have certainly gotten bigger, we haven't forgotten how we started. We are still locally owned and operated. We live where you live and we are invested in the communities we work and play in, participating in fundraising events and hosting food and toy drives to benefit local charities.
