The Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) National High School Cheerleading Championship took place from February 7 to 10, 2025, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex within the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

This prestigious event, now in its 40th year, is recognized as the premier high school cheerleading championship in the United States. It attracts teams from across the nation to compete in various categories, including large and small squads, coed teams, and individual events. San Antonio was proud to send multiple teams to the competition, where they were evaluated on their cheer, dance, and stunting abilities, as well as their overall performance and energy. And a HUGE Congratulations to Alamo Heights for 1st place in JV!

The competition was held across multiple venues within the complex, such as the State Farm Field House, the Athletic Center, and various arenas, accommodating the extensive schedule and numerous teams participating.

For those unable to attend in person, the championship was streamed live on Varsity TV, allowing fans nationwide to witness the performances. You can view the results of the championship on the official UCA website.
